RE: Is this a solution for better yellows in G1-X
Jan 4, 2013

Looking for feedback as to this idea for producing better yellow colors (from JPEGs) with the G1-X.

If you take GREEN's saturation level down one notch, does that have any effect on yellow's much-discussed "yellow-greenish" problem?  Does it become a somewhat purer yellow?  Or does the -1 GREEN saturation simply affect green elsewhere in an image?

If that does NOT work, then would the answer be - in my case anyway, since I don't have Photoshop - to use GIMP and go into the "hue/saturation" menu option?  Then select yellow as the primary color to adjust and adjust the "hue" downward and the saturation upward?

I noticed that if you adjust the hue upward, the yellow/green combination gradually appears, thus the idea of going downward.

As always...thank you,
