Panning a scene with your viewfinder

Then Nord (or anybody), please post some pictures of fast paced BIF action (like mallards).  Make a believer out of me.  I've seen your past BIF pictures with EVF, but sorry, I'm wasn't impressed because the birds were slow (gulls?), and they didn't fill the frame.  In fact, they were at a good distance which would make panning and burst shooting easy. I agree 100% with digititus (and others) on this in that the A77 EVF simply is not better suited for shooting TRUE fast paced action over even an A700 (I have both and KNOW this).
