Hi,
No vignetting whatsoever here either. If you happen to have the E24/1.8, its hood is a good alternative to buying the expensive, vented RX1 hood - if you want a bayonet mount like I do.
I won't have the E24/1.8 hood for long though; the RX1 has made the E-mount lens obsolete for my purposes. With the RX1, I can now wait for a FF NEX.

I am still waiting for my Sony hood. I do have the E24/1.8 hood as well and yes, it fits the ways you posted. Have you found photo situations where vignetting has been a problem with it on? I have not. The longer extension does protect the RX1 better when i do macros.
