You people are freaking me out with my new D7000

Actually, The AF performance is noticeably better than in the model it replaced or postioned below it . Auto-ISO performing  poorly I have never seen. Are you confusing how Auto-ISO reacts vs how it's implementation is designed?

Different but not always better. The canon flash system I think is one of the disadvantages many point out. You gain more cross type but lose coverage. You gain FPS but lose big in DR. In truth....both are exceptional. Proof of that is the enormous amount of stunning examples from both bodies shown world wide.
