If you don't think the A77 can be used to capture a series such as the one you posted - very nice, by the way - then you were wrong. On the other hand it does require some practice and greater concentration to shoot action with an EVF, no doubt about it.

As much as I like my A77 I would never recommend it to someone who primarily wants a camera to shoot sports. That's mostly due to its limitations at high ISOs. There are just better options from Canon and Nikon.
