Fill flash
In reply to HollyMandarich, Jan 4, 2013

Fill flash will do the trick, and your lowly pop up will work most the time, is easier to learn than the more complicate flash beasts out there.  Learn the effects of exposure compensation in conjunction with flash compensation, google "dragging the shutter" and "slow synch" exposures and you'll be a low light nerd.
