Predictions are hard. Who would have thunk that Apple would be the ones to save the music industry from a similarly obsolete business model? But, with iTunes, they did.
For this reason I expect more traction out of Apple's "top secret" efforts on TV. And as you note, each new service (starting with netflix) is another chip in the wall, another step for people to ditch the monthly bundle bill.
