That why this bit of news about a new X100 makes it rather exciting for me. We have seen improvements in new cameras trickle down to previous models if it can be implemented through a firmware upgrade. What leaves me baffled is that they have not implemented yet the ISO/shutter speed feature in the X-Pro1 and E-E1 cameras as they did in the X100 in spite of multiple requests.
That would about make those cameras perfect IMO.
