Can iPhoto, Aperture, LR, or PS show embedded jpegs from Nikon NEF yet?

I have been away from the forum for a few years and was wondering if any of the mainstream photo cataloging/editing applications (Aperture, iphoto, LR, PS3, etc) had been improved to integrate any better with NX2 for RAW conversion of Nikon NEFs. From my searching so far today it seems not.

I prefer the RAW processing of NX2 over Apple, LR, or ACR's RAW conversion. These past years I have been using Photo Mechanic as a front end and NX2 as my editor, and this works reasonably well, but it would be nice to be able to use NX2 with other applications like Aperture, iPhoto or LR.

I want to be able to keep the photos stored as NEF files, edit it in NX2, but when I browse through my photos (in whatever application) I want to always see the updated jpeg preview embeded in the NEF so I see the results of my most recent edits.

Can iPhoto, Aperture, LR, or PS do this now?

Background Info: Whenever NX2 saves a modified NEF file during edit it also updates the built-in jpeg that is contained inside the NEF container. This jpeg shows the results of the most recent edit as rendered on the Nikon converted RAW data. Photo Mechanic will re-read this internal jpeg every time the NEF file is touched (edited) and therefore show you the results of your latest edit. To my knowledge no other mainstream photo processing applications do this.
