Panasonic GF owners; opinions on the usuability of video?

There are essentially three things to look at when evaluating the video functionality of a camera:
- The technical quality of the downsample and codec. There's a lot behind this, but the short of it is that Panasonic is best-of-breed and the GF3 largely has the same benefits as its bigger brothers.
- The lens selection. m4/3 leaves us plenty of flexibility here, so no worries.
- Manual control of focus and exposure. Primarily shutter speed and aperture, because these will directly affect the image. Sounds like that could be a problem. Can you use AEL during recording? It's imprecise, but it'll at least give you some control.
