Yes, the lack of the option to save edited images at full size is common to most editing apps. Pixlr-o-matic, a review of which we will post within the next couple of days or so, is one example that allows you to do that and works fine with the Galaxy Camera. It's a very different app to Snapseed though.

I agree on your assessment on the Galaxy Camera. It's a first generation product (although not the first Android camera, there was a Polaroid model and the Nikon SC800, both of which are nowhere near as good as the Galaxy). It'll be exciting to see what else there is to come.
