Hi guys,

Thanks for your input guys, some very interesting thoughts.

Yesterday I was comparing my prints under a 40w tungsten light, and the colours in print looked pretty saturated.

I found that if I look at the pictures inside my living room with lights off (it is sunny outside, but I'm in the shade) they do look like my photos on the monitor. In fact, the Spyder calibration is very similar to the sRGB IEC61966-2.1, but dark colours seem brighter (but maybe a shade greener), so the  sRGB IEC61966-2.1 profile apparently looks better.

Which light should I use to compare prints with the monitor?

In this white saturation test, with any of these calibrations, the last one I see is 249: http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/white.php

In the black level test I see them all: http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/black.php

Thanks for your help
