D5100 viewfinder AF points dim :(

My D5100 is like 3 weeks old. I noticed that during bright shoots the top most RED AF point is a bit hard to notice lighting up. Upon playing around in Single AF point mode I have noticed that the top most and bottom most AF point is dimmer than the rest.... Is that normal??

Also to note that the Bottom AF point is a bit brighter than the Top one but as a whole both are dimmer than the rest of the AF points.
