NEX7 is excellent for flowers.

If I combine focus peaking with manual focussing with magnified view I have a good chance at getting sharp closeups of flowers. I prefer this camera to the OMD-EM5 that I seldom use now.

Have a look at how good the humble Thistle looks. No tripod was used. Can't imagine photos being much sharper.
