M43 present advice

Sorry for the real newbie question. I have an OM-D EM5 which I am utterly delighted with.

When I bought it I was more interested in the reviews of image quality than the micro43 details so I am not terribly up to date with the range of micro43 cameras.

I want to buy my brother a present of a m43 camera. Ideally something smaller than the OMD, cheaper - it will be his first proper camera, and possibly with a couple of lenses in a kit.

I am finding the range of Panasonic and Olympus cameras confusing. Could anyone explain the various models and which models are current. Also, I know it is a big question, could anyone also explain where the various Olympus and Panasonic cameras are aimed at, what is the difference between EPL, EPM etc etc

Finally any suggestions for cameras/kits for him. First proper non-compact camera. No real knowledge of aperture/ISO/DOF etc but wants to learn.
