Looking for Flickr Contacts/Followers

Here's a little about me. I'm a full time physics student in college (coincidentally taking a class in optics next semester) and have recently discovered a strong interest in photography. I got my first real camera earlier this year which was a Sony NEX 5N and loved it! My images were on par, or better, than what my friend put out with his D7000. As someone who does a lot of astrophotography and night time shooting I needed something with better high ISO performance and full frame was the only way to go. I debated on the Canon 6D and Nikon D600 for a while. The main thing about the Canon is it's ability to focus at -3 EV at the center AF point while the D600 is rated at about -1 EV. Besides that, however, the D600 seemed to be the superior camera so that's the route I went!

I've had the D600 for only about two weeks now but I feel that my photographic skills have greatly improved. I've been reading a few books on composition, lighting, using flash, portraits, etc. and have really been enjoying it! I plan on photography becoming an integral part of my life and hopefully something I can do as a job (whether part or full time) in the future. I've already been reaching out to friends about doing photoshoots for them, although so far my girlfriend has been my model. My current lenses are the 24-85mm VR Kit, 28mm f/1.8, 50mm f/1.8, and the Tamron 70-300mm VC.

Eventually I'll make a photography blog (it'll be more about gadgetry and electronics in general than just photography, probably) once I've gotten more popular. If you add me as a contact on Flickr I will also contact you back and frequently comment on your pictures! Thanks for the help guys!
