They actually admitted that did not have solution for it. Nevertheless, if oil comes at steak, all bodies have now to go to Germany for a repair. So there is a fix for that, and mine probably is on it's way.

There is a lot of whining about the whining. But you aren't whining at all. You are documenting the issues and share it with us through the internet. And, so it seems, with Nikon too.

The only advice I would want to give you is be to send it in. As you know by now, the oil issue hasn't really gone away, has it? I've seen D7000 users with 30.000 frames on the clock and still the sensor was covered with it. If you do not bring it in, there is a fair chance you will keep on waiting for the probem to go away, and in the mean timeyou need to spend a small fortune for cleaning it. If you do not send it in, Nikon will not help you for sure. Let them do the dirty work.
