ZS20 / TZ30 Users: Any tips on 'best' setting for shooting pictures?

Hi Erik,

I think this has come up in the past but I couldn't find the earlier discussions. For those dragonfly shots I had my ZS20 in P mode and iISO. I usually set to 100 ISO but I had been taking some indoor shots at slow shutter speeds and I had been trying iISO because as you said, it can provide some intermediate ISO values which can't be set directly.

I think in P mode the cam seems to be programmed so that it balances shutter speed and aperture, opting for a wide aperture and only raising the ISO (if iISO is set) if it decides that the shutter speed is too slow for hand-held shots. That's just my impression as I haven't done any proper tests of it.

I think setting + or - EV is independent of that, but again I haven't done any detailed tests. Perhaps someone else will join in and provide more info.
