D3X is really over priced....

Is there any chance that the D3X will come down in price, or better yet, updated to a D4X? Im not talking about a D800 sensor either...I'd really like to see a D4 body with 24mp sensor, usable ISO 12,800 and 8FPS.

Personally, I find the files of my D800 a bit much for 90% of my work. I'm more of an on the go photographer, and often use TCs on my super teles, so 36MP at 100% isn't generally usable anyway, but I would like something more than 18MP. 24MP FX seems ideal, and suited me just fine with my D2X and D300 (equivalent pixel density for DX).

I would buy a new D3X if they were around $4000, or even go used for around $2500, but $6700 for an inferior sensor to Nikon's sub $2000 FX camera? It's just not worth that much just for a rugged body and better AF....
