Absolutely baffling menu layout on OM-D

Sorry, but on the E-m5 that information persists only for a couple of seconds then is removed from the view by the camera.  Yes, I know all about setting the different views, using "info" to scroll through them, etc.  And bringing up the super control panel.

None of those effectively substitute for having the information in the viewfinder (or LVF) all the time. Having to do anything other than look at the camera to determine what the white balance setting is, given that it can be very easy to inadvertently change it, is less useful.
