D800E + Nikkor 70-300 VR

I have kept mine and use it as a "travellers lens" on the D800, since it is so much lighter than the 70-200 2.8 which I also have. The quality of the 70-300 is OK for street photography, travel documentary etc. so if you are an amateur photographer, like I am, and not always striving for perfection, I would recommend you to keep it. I originally bought the 70-300 to my D200 and it has seved me very well since 2007.
