Oly XZ-2 Owners who have had Canon G11

the search function isn't working for me, so I start by apologizing if this is discussed in a previous thread, but I am interested in hearing from owners of the XZ-2 who also have had the Canon G11.

What I am interested in particularly is image quality, not ergonomics or menu setup or other pros and cons.  I own an Oly PEN and have used a XZ-1, so handling is not my issue.  I am interested in getting on to one platform so I have a strong interest in the XZ series.  I deciided not to swap the Canon for an XZ-1 when the price dropped on that camera recently because of lack of control over noise in when shooting in jpeg and because of the lack of an articulating LCD screen.  I understand that the XZ-2 give jpeg shooters some control over noise reduction and has a tilt screen and an improved sensor/jpeg engine. I also understand the benefits of shooting RAW, but I want to limit this conversation to jpeg shooting.

What I need to know is would I be giving up any overall image quality by switching to the XZ-2?  Loss of detail when shooting jpeg up to about ISO 800 is my particular concern -- that is where the XZ-1 failed to persuade me to change. I do print but usually 8x10 and never more than 16x20.
