HZ 30W How do you turn the flash on and off.

Often it will flash in the light. Is there a control in the menu functions to turn flash on and off.
Also noticed the sharpness isn't what it was when first purchased two years ago. Is there a control in the menu I may have changed as it seems slow to get that sharpness in the photo when half pressing the power button?
