I have used the 100-300 for two years on the GH1. Mainly for nature photography, especially birds. Very pleased with the results I get except for the odd time it had difficulty finding focus. I just got the GH3 and AF is fast and no probems finding focus. So the occasional focusing problems are due to the camera not the lens.
