D800 Focus problem on the left and right.

I noticed that when I use the outer left and right focus points, my images are not sharp at all, almost blurry. I wonder if this is a defect of the camera or my lens (highly unlikely since I tested it with 2 different lenses and both the same problem)

Now I've heard that the focus points are sharper in the middle, but not sure if this is normal or my D800 has indeed a focus issue.

Would appreciate if somebody can help. I bought the camera in Japan, wonder if I can get warranty or repair internationally.
