Simple RAW processing - OK?

Just pick up Light Room? You can get it on sale (or education discount) for under $100 and it does so much; catalog, print, slideshow, edit, convert, support plugins, etc. A much easier to use application than PS and you can easily move photo's back and forth between LR and CS if you need to do major editing.
