1) incase you want to take photos of moon with craters, SX50 is the ultimate tool, since moon is far far away. But On the assumption that you will be taking photos from near the airport, Canon SX50 IS is not the best for fast actions/aviations. FZ-200 is slightly better as focussing is likely to be faster.

2) If possible, you can put the $600 of FZ-200 into used Sigma 100-300 F4 HSM, which with Canon 550D would focus much faster than FZ-200. Gradation and highlight clipping are problems in aviation photography, which you reduce with this combination, where both SX-50 and FZ-200 wont do much.
