OM-D Single AF Box Size - Annoyance

Just curious if anybody else is frustrated by the size of the single AF box?  In a couple of portrait shoots I've done, I've been incredibly frustrated with the OM-D backfocusing because the single AF box is too big and focuses past the faces of the people I'm photographing.

Any way around this, OTHER than manual focusing?
