I was even told to hold the camera steady by someone who saw that shot. Do you have any samples that could be shared? I have been playing with it and see no DR advantage.

I wish if dpreview supported mobile devices for the forums. It is a hell typing on my Android device. Even the keyboard misbehaves. No autocomplete, no spell check, laggy...
Shooting with iDinamic set to maximum vs HDR there is no clear advantage. Actually I find HDR is very limited. If I shoot with iDinamic to max, I have more detail in shadow areas, but with more noise. If I shoot HDR, I have a clean picture with low noise but if camera gets moved a little bit, the whole picture is blurred or doubled-tripled, not to mention moving objects. Htc One X combines so well HDR, even if there is a slow ! moving object, you will hardly notice it.
I can shoot raw, (iDinamic is availalble only for jpeg) than set shadow detail to a higher value in lightroom, and I got the same picture as with iDinamic. But I can't shoot raw in HDR mode, so post processing is very limited. And as I said before, I had no trouble shooting hdr with the 650D handheld, so if others can do it right, I am sure Pana can do it also...
