Im curious, even if the camera with a foveon inside was better, would that make you feel a better photographer?

Or just a proud owner of the best gear?

I would really love to be the owner of a great image! And no, no camera will make a photo better than another...(with all this blah blah: if this photo was taken with that camera...omg...)

Only a better eye, heart and understanding can make a better image, never, ever, a camera will make this.

Actually good camera helps a lot.

There was a saying " There is no bad tools but only bad carpenters" but for some reason good carpenters buy the best tools available.

By the way if you take sigma dp2m dp1m cameras you do get best value for the money.

Of course, because it isn't possible that there are other cameras not Sigma Foveons, that would make for the best tools available for some carpenters, no?

The reality is, what he said- a camera can buy you convenience or a certain canvas of light. You are not any better as a photographer for using one or another.

Did i said foveon or sigma in my post?

Yes, you did. You mentioned the DP2M as the best value for the money (completely subjective and varies with the tool being a good fit for a particular job/carpenter!).  You were also replying to someone who was using Sigma Foveon as a context.

I sad best tool available for some M9 for some d800 and for some just a smartphone.

Certainly did not read any of those cameras in your reply. But that said, what count is the intention, so if you meant what you wrote me back, cool.
