Yeah I expect the DX line to carry the load in 2013, but also wouldn't be surprised to see some rebates or promos later on in 2013. For now buying into FF is not the best timing. Refurbished D600/800s might be attractive if the prices comes down just a bit more from the current $1699 / $2300 / $2699 for the D800E. Make them $1499 / $2199 & $2499 and Nikon will sell all they can supply. Maybe Nikon will surprize us.

The dust & LF issues on the D600/800 really doesn't concern me too much buying at a discount as I would rarely use the far LF point and cleaning once in a while until it clears up is no big deal once I have the swabs to do so. (if the LF point was close that would be fine to me if it was way off I would want it fixed if I paid full price). In vertical portraits it would be the RF point that might get used.
