Everyone can offer only one data point. Mine is that no Sandisk has ever failed, but my 1000x failed after a few days on the D800. They replaced it under warranty (hassle to arrange and ship but no issue with replacement, and no explanation of issue). I've used it occasionally since but no longer trust it alone, only in backup mode (which largely defeats the purpose).
