Having the horizon right smack dab in the middle of the image detracts a little bit, but the overall feel is great!

That's a good point and I totally agree with you about the horizon being distracting. I remember just trying to get the horizon level, which wasn't easy because I was on a narrow ridge about five feet wide with about a 75ft steep drop on either side. So my options for changing the point of view were limited. And it was dark
