Flash triggers needed with D700 and Calumet travelites?

get the YN RF603N tranceivers.  About $35/pair.   buy 2 pair and Be happy.

I've bought 8 RF603C's, buddy has 6 RF603N's.  I also have some other triggers.  Since the channels are compatible between the C and N models, we were able to fully rig/trigger multiple 2-light stations at the recent local Help-Portrait.com event, with NO need for optical slaving.

The RF603's are IMHO light years ahead of the cheap stuff of yesteryear.

I've had mine about a year or longer
