Uh, I think that is bad advise.

The first thing to consider is ergonomics because that is the most personal thing you will interact with on any camera. If the ergonomics are uncomfortable for you, then you will hate the camera and never be satisfied.


Ah, sorry I think you lost my meaning and upon rereading my post I agree that I was unclear. I didn't mean last as in it is not important. I would agree with you that it is possible the most important thing.  It was simply the last thing as in something I hadn't mentioned before. It is also something that is difficult to get advice on. You have to try it yourself as it is very subjective. Different people have vastly different preferences when it comes to ergonomics and user interface and you will have to find out what you prefer.
