Hi,

I'm afraid the links don't proof whether the RX100 can track a subject or not.

The dog sample: Everything is in focus. The dog as well as the fence. With such DOF everything is sharp. There is no proof that the camera focused and tracked the dogs.

The dragster are panning shots. Most likely with the lens stopped down. Same as above plus the subject is not moving to the camera. This can be done without AF.

I don't want to spoil your enthusiasm but I recommend to try before you buy.

oh i see.. i'll try to find out bout this before i buy this camera.. if u have any good news please tell me ya.. i like this camera size but i like to shoot moving object... like a child running or playing thanks ya
