A Few from Today and Day Before
In reply to Richard Pavek, 5 months ago

Hello,

Its been quite a while that I posted here on this thread-just keeping a bit busy with my studies for my Masters degree.Hoping all of you have had a very Merry Christmas and here's wishing you all a Very Happy and Prosperous New Year.

Posting some photos taken day before yesterday and today in the morning. As usual all photos are taken hand-held,JPEGs straight out of the camera with no post processing.

Camera:E-620,Lens: Sigma 135-400 mm.

The Golder Oriole-Clicked on the Gulmohar tree outside my hostel room.tried to trace its call early in the morning but could not find it-so tried to mimic its call and lo and behold!!!!.It showed up after I stopped calling  (after around 20 minutes) and was frantically trying to find its "Partner or Mate" coming as close as possible to my room's window grill

The same bird at some distance from the window-normally we get to hear a cacophony from a lot of crows on this tree and when this "Intruder" got onto the tree there was a lot of resistance and harassment to this bird from the resident crows of that tree.
