Nikon 50mm AF 1.8D Vs Nikon 50mm AFS 1.8G

I own the 50mm 1.8 AF D version of this lens and am happy with it. I wanted to know if it is worth selling it an getting the 50mm AFS G version. I use the lens on both full frame and a D300. I sure many have upgraded, and was wondering if those people thought it was worth it.
