The Canon Curse

My mentor and friend has told me that I suffer from "The Canon Curse."
Since I've gone over to Nikon, just under three years ago, I've had to service my D3s three times, for a total of three months. My D800 is now in "parts hold" in Nikon repair (very similar to Siberian exile) and I've dropped by 14-24/2.8 twice. The last fall broke it in half (the rear housing) and will require a complete replacement of pretty much everything but the glass elements. The CF card port on my D4 stopped working the second day I had it (it's a warranty repair, but Nikon service terrifies me, and they don't let independent shops touch the camera.)
My friend claims I am cursed because I switched from Canon!
I switched from the 5D to the 1Dsiii because I needed faster AF for my street work. I bought the D3s only for night shooting, but it immediately clicked with me, and I greatly appreciated that auto iso was properly implemented.
However, since the D3s was in the hospital for so long when I had no other bodies my 1dsiii took thousands of shots as my backup camera. I finally have the skill to get excellent photos from it, which I did not have when I bought it.
Well, I now have 3 Nikon FF bodies. I thought I would buy any new Canon body that offered an advantage over Nikon, because I wouldn't mind using both systems. The 5Diii and the 1DX are excellent cameras, but except for shutter sound I haven't heard of a substantive advantage over my 3 Nikon bodies, just a catchup on AF for the 5D3 and on high iso for both cameras --which makes them fully competitive machines for street photography now.
So, long story short, it looks like I won't be buying a new Canon body for this generation, and my 1Dsiii is my#4 body, with outdated high iso and auto iso. But what a great camera otherwise. So I decided to sell it, but it is very hard to do so.
Questions:
Is there a strong reason to buy 5D3 or 1DX for fast action street shooting, given the other 4 FX bodies I have?
What's a realistic price to sell the 1Dsiii with original box etc for?
Is there a strong argument to keep the 1Dsiii, which is basically a studio camera, for street photography and keep my toe in the Canon pond --I've kept a few lenses (24-105, 200/2.8, 70-200/4, 135/2, 85/L - all of which now have good Nikon subsitutes.) The main thing the new Canon bodies have to offer - high iso, well designed auto-iso - I already have in my 3 Nikon bodies. I have no particular reason to use it, but it just seems so solid in my hands, and the sensor is so beautiful.
