Santa gave me some oompphhh

Santa has been good to me

I was considering macro and buying a lens accordingly.

Now the Canon 85mm 1.8 got my attention (no macro I am aware).

Is it a lens to consider with tubes for macro as well?

I liked the (non macro) shots I seen with it for subject isolation.

So is it a one trick pony or slightly more versatile?
