What percentage of images taken actually get the post processing treatment?  For me, hardly any.  But I mean to change all that.  Another question is......do any of you resort to post-work of JPGs?  Or only if shot in RAW?

I must confess to taking only JPEGs and with my Post Processing extent, that of the 1-hr kiosks.

I'm not complaining, but there's apparently SOOOOOO much more I could be doing if I were to shed my fear, and major lack of knowledge, of using Post Process. programs, and Just Do It.

I have 3 such programs downloaded in my computer as we speak:

Canon's Digital Photo Professional

Pacasa III

Photoshop Elements 10 (or is it 11...I don't even know)

So is there some gentle, unintimidating, way that I could get into this, without being as discouraged as I've been thus far?  I've asked for help before.  And I've tried to explain that I'm a real dunce when it comes to this sort of thing, but I don't think you understand that I really mean it.  I need the book " Postprocessing for Dummies for the Pre-school Aged"

I need encouragement AND DIRECTION.
