Some help. GH3 and OMD together. Is this silly ?

I do like the more relaxed ergonomics of the GH3, but that and its video strengths form its only appeal to me - and doesn't come close to displacing the OMD in my collection as I don't shoot video. I also saw no mention of video in your rather lengthy description of your usage/priorities. I'd think that would have to be number one on the list if the GH3 were to be vital.

The other thing that occurs to me is that you will be tying up your 12-35 money in the second body. If you really need two (much less four), I'm not sure exactly what your question is. Is it if a G5 is the functional equal of the OMD? Clearly, it is not. DR is the reason to upgrade bodies, and the G5 does not deliver on this count anything like the GH3 or OMD.

In the end your own opinions and self-defined conditions are completely driving this decision, leaving little room for others to help.
