Hello Trevor!  Welcome to the Sony SLR/SLT forum.  I know the back button focus you speak of, as I am a dual platform user.  I hate to tell you to unlearn what you have learned, but this is accomplished with one button on the Sony(shutter). Sony does such a deal, but it has to do with the exposure part of it.  I will say that the AF-c tracks pretty well on them so you really don't have to use a back button because of the full-time phase detect system on the Sony. I hope you can get used to it.  Good Luck!
