Zoom vs crop - guess which?

I tried, but occasionally I don't mind 8Mp, and OIS really sucks on cropped image. As the result of such crop one has  in fact a  small sensor 2Mp camera with image stabilization, focusing  and exposure metering set for large 18Mp sensor. All of this does not work on pixel level - that's what I tried to show with this thread to start with.
