yeah, that's a good idea. Set your zoom at 85mm and see if you even have enough space for that focal distance. If not, then it the 85mm is a non-starter for you.

Also the 50mm is great as well. It's just not going to give you as much of that wonderful bokeh magic look as the 85 will.
