I have called Sony 2-3 times for support. In each case, I spoke to someone clueless and incompetent. Points of note:
- My last experience with Sony support was 3 years ago, and prior to that, 5 years ago. It is possible they improved.
- I am in the US, not Canada. Sony support is supposed to vary substantially by country. I've heard wonderful reports about Sony support from other parts of the world.
- Independent reviews of Sony support (e.g. LensRentals) rated them equally badly.
Anyways, I posted that for benefit of anyone interested. Feel free to take or ignore.
