Sony Vaio S series vs Dell XPS 15

Anyone have any experience of how the above laptops compare. I'm hoping to buy a new laptop and I'm considering one of the above laptops. For similar specs the Dell seems to come out a bit cheaper, but how do they compare in terms of build quality, especially the quality of the screen?
