VR yes or no ?

I was skeptical when I read about VR, but the 18-105 on my d5100 convinced me it does work.

Especially at full zoom when hand shakiness is amplified.

I would not ever pay for it on a Macro, however, which I use for wildflowers ( always on a tripod).
