7D packaged deal - Too good to be true?

The 18-55mm lens offers better wide angle coverage than the current available 28-105mm, depending on which version of that lens is available, it's optically superior to the kit lens albeit without image stabilization. The 55-250mm lens is better than the currently available 75-300mm lens (which are the runt of the Canon breed), with one caveat, the 55-250mm lens has a built in image stabilizer which you must disable when panning - which can be error prone once you got into using the stabilizer for static shots.
