Another new Nikon P7100 owner!

Hello Nikon Coolpix people,
I've never owned a Nikon, so I'm new to this forum and very excited about the P7100 I just purchased. I hadn't planned on buying it, but found an incredible price on the display model at my local big box dept store. I'd been eyeing it for a while, and have had some interest in the Nikon P6000-and-up models, but also looking at the Fuji X10 a bit. The price I got on the P7100 left me no choice but to buy it.
I'm glad I did, and actually somewhat surprised at how much I'm enjoying it because I'd given up on all small sensor cameras in favor of m4/3rds, and a couple Sigmas (DP1s and DP2s).
The P7100 is so convenient and such a pleasure to use. The lens is amazing, and it is considerably faster in the AF department than the Sigmas, which I use almost exclusively as MF cameras. Also better for low light.
I find the image quality of the P7100 to be really good, but I am not a fan of the somewhat flat look produced by small sensor cameras in general. Having said that, the camera is such a joy to use I can live with that and know that with some pp work they'll come alive.
I'm open to any suggestions on working with this camera and post processing techniques you've found. I look forward to learning the ins and outs of this great little camera.
Thanks
